Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inbound Receiving Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments. Your proactive approach will ensure that stock is accurately received, properly stored, and ready for order fulfillment. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills in warehouse management systems and equipment operation will directly contribute to smooth warehouse operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure accurate logging of all items. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse. Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies; document any issues and communicate with suppliers or supervisors as needed. Stock shelves efficiently by following proper packaging, labeling, and organization procedures aligned with warehouse distribution standards. Assist in order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes to prepare items for shipment or storage. Utilize the warehouse management system (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, update records, and support inventory accuracy. Support loading and unloading activities for trucks while adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment. Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms. Strong basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying shipment quantities. Knowledge of e-commerce warehousing processes including packaging and order picking techniques. Ability to perform physical tasks such as load & unload activities while maintaining safety standards.
