Freight Full Job Description Shipping/Receiving Clerk Hours:

Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

Pay Rate:

$18/hr

Vandalia, Ohio 45377

Experience:

3+ years of forklift experience, shipping/receiving experience, and work within a warehouse environment.

As they continue to grow rapidly, they are looking for dedicated Shipping/Receiving Clerks to keep their supply chain moving efficiently and ensure that high-quality HVAC products get to their customers on time. What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

Load & Unload:

Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing freight, including raw sheet metal coils, custom-built ductwork, commercial wall/roof fans, and industrial housings.

Shipment Verification:

Inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage, matching packing slips to purchase orders.

Staging & Organizing:

Stage finalized HVAC products on the dock for express carrier pickup, ensuring loads are secure and organized to meet our fast turnaround guarantees. Keep it

Safe & Clean:

Maintain a clean, unobstructed dock area to prevent accidents and optimize warehouse traffic flow.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with our inventory processors, material handlers, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless logistics from the production floor to the delivery truck. What We're Looking For (Qualifications): Prior experience working on a busy shipping/receiving dock, freight terminal, or manufacturing warehouse is a plus. Strong physical stamina; ability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver industrial freight. Forklift experience or certification is highly preferred Detail-oriented mindset—making sure the right custom order gets onto the right truck every time.
