Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Inventory Assistant, where your energy and attention to detail will drive the efficiency of our distribution operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting shipping and receiving processes, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, equipment operation, and logistics while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist with inventory management by accurately stocking, picking, packing, and organizing products. Support shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading shipments with forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy across all storage areas. Prepare orders for dispatch through efficient order picking and packing processes aligned with customer specifications. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems) safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly storing items and adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on order fulfillment tasks and ensure timely processing of shipments. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and stock replenishment techniques. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes in fast-paced environments such as e-commerce fulfillment centers. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and safety compliance. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members on load & unload tasks and order fulfillment.
