Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all shipping standards. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, shipping logistics, and trade compliance will help streamline our distribution operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork drive success. Responsibilities Prepare and package products for shipment, utilizing proper packaging techniques to prevent damage during transit Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move inventory safely within the warehouse Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately pick, pack, and track orders in real-time Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade agreements when handling cross-border shipments Verify shipping documents, labels, and customs paperwork to meet trade and regulatory standards Manage stock levels through regular inventory counts using ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software Assist with order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms, ensuring timely picking and packing of customer orders Experience Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers in a warehouse setting Familiarity with warehouse distribution systems and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP software Knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and trade compliance standards Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing Experience with packaging materials and techniques suitable for various product types Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Join our team as a Shipping Clerk to play a crucial role in delivering excellence across our supply chain!
