Shipping Associate

Shipping Specialist Our Client is a locally owned and operated company, nationally known and respected as a leader in the development and production of affordable, easy-to-use data-acquisition products (probeware) for science classrooms and labs around the world. Summary This person will be picking and pulling orders from a pick list as well as packaging them for shipment. In addition to pulling orders you would be responsible for labeling the boxes, stacking boxes safely on the pallet, shrink wrapping the pallet and using the pallet jack to move the pallet to the dock for pick up. Duties Someone with material handling experience and FIFO (First in first out) process experience is preferred. Past experience working from an order or pick list is important Able to stand on their feet all day in an active role Strong attention to detail Ability to lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis Energetic Good computer skills. Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred. Great attitude and good culture fit

Shift :

Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm Pay rate is $18/hour

Location :

Beaverton •public transit accessible!• (some locations may not be due to shift start time) •

Assignment:

This job is technically temporary and will last through the fall. If a permanent position is available those who make it through the season will be encouraged to apply for the full time slot.
