Shipping Associate and Driver

Overview Full-time position available NOW in a fast-paced team environment to help pack orders, load trucks, unload trucks, and deliver orders. Flexible schedule is a must, Monday through Friday, possible overtime when required. Benefits package available after 90-days. Pre-employment drug testing applies. BOE Qualifications:

Valid Oregon Driver's license (Non-CDL) CDL with manual transmission endorsement will pay higher Be able to drive a manual transmission Clean driving record preferred Drug Free Good customer service Dependable Organized Must have strong interpersonal and English communication skills Must be able to maintain composure during stressful situations Work quickly in a fast‑paced environment Able to learn routes, equipment, and customer locations quickly Have a safety-first attitude Have a good understanding of the Portland Metro area roads Forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

Be able to load and unload flatbed trucks, box trucks, vans, truck racks, etc. Must be able to lift and carry 50 or more pounds consistently throughout an eight hour day Stand and sit for long periods of time

Duties Include:

Daily vehicle maintenance checks Drive a forklift (onsite certification required) Drive to multiple locations a day delivering and picking up anything from a pack of bolts to a 4000-pound steel structure Wrapping and/or crating loads Building wooden skids Securing loads to truck Some general warehouse work

Pay:

From $22.50 per hour
