Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Description Join our dynamic team, supporting a variety of industries with a focus on sawdust collection and disposal systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience in shipping and receiving to ensure smooth operations. You will play a crucial role in managing incoming components and parts for our fabrication team to build in accordance with ASME guidelines. Responsibilities Receive incoming components and parts for the fabrication team as per ASME guidelines. Utilize inventory and shipping programs effectively. Maintain organization and attention to detail in all tasks. Operate sit-down forklifts for material handling and loading. Build crates for shipments as needed. Ensure certified products are accurately packaged and dispatched to customers. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving. Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts with 2+ years of experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in crate building is a plus. Knowledge in inventory management and shipping programs. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a custom fabrication shop specializing in both large-scale and small custom jobs. Our smaller facility, home to approximately 40-50 employees, offers a familial atmosphere. The role is based on a day shift schedule from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandy, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
