Shipping Clerk - New Opening! Allied Personnel Services - 3.7 Bethlehem, PA Job Details Full-time $17.50 - $18.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Word Hand trucks Forklift Order shipping High school diploma or GED Shipping and receiving inventory management Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Allied is seeking candidates for a Shipping role! This long term opportunity could lead to perm hire. Hours are 1st shift and pay is $17.50-18.50/hr.
Responsibilities:
Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments Prepare items for shipment Compare counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records Affix shipping labels on packed cartons Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or select pre-assembled containers Insert items into containers Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications Operate a forklift or hand truck to move shipments from shipping to appropriate area Candidates for this role must have shipping experience, experience on a forklift, a HS Diploma/GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Computer skills (MS Office - Word/Excel) are also needed. Experience driving a box truck is helpful.
