Job Description

Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a new Shipping opening! This long term opportunity could lead to perm hire. Hours are 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 8a-530p. Pay is $19.00-20.00/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Process shipments (UPS, FedEx, LTL), prepare bills of lading, and generate packing lists Operate sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack to load/unload trucks Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, damages, and compliance documents Examine contents, verify accuracy against orders, and ensure proper labeling Coordinate with internal departments and freight carriers Previous shipping/receiving, warehouse experience, and forklift certification. Candidates for this role must have experience in shipping/receiving. Experience w/ a sit-down forklift is needed as well as experience w/ bills of lading, FedEx, and UPS shipping.
