Job Description
Job Summary This position facilitates the receipt and shipment of all goods processed by Sales Orders and Purchase Orders and maintaining stockroom inventory. The majority of our product is shipped in small packages and requires special handling. Responsibilities and Duties Essential Job Functions Receive materials against purchase order in computer system - Check against PO for correct item, quantity, due date. Allocate parts to factory orders or stock and distribute them as required after they have been approved by Q.C. Package finished products for shipment to end customers - check parts against sales order to confirm the right parts and products in the right quantity are shipping. Process shipment for the proper carrier-UPS or Fedex (small package). Serve as backup in stockroom and production when needed. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of shipping and receiving related transactions. All other duties assigned as needed. Must be able to work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime Qualifications and Skills Requirements Basic knowledge of personal computer & Windows operating system High School or GED education Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion Ability to communicate via
