Job Description

Come join our Team as a Seasonal Receiving Clerk! We started with pastries handmade by Lois and Lloyd Martin produced inside of a garage and we have boomed into a multi-facility company where our many products are produced by machines and shipped domestically and internationally. As a member of the Martin's Family, the Receiving Clerk a ccurately verifies and keeps records of incoming shipments. Quickly prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Other duties may be assigned.) Moves ingredients and supplies throughout facility as needed. Receives incoming ingredients adhering to strict protocol regarding food safety and food defense Assists other departments with moving tasks. Unloads and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Operates forklift to move shipments from receiving platform to storage or work area. Communicates frequently with production personnel to ensure proper replenishment of goods. In conjunction with the Inventory Control Specialist, investigates and remedies inventory discrepancies. Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. •Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
