Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Overview Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist. We are a medical equipment service and sales company. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments which includes inspecting and logging in of equipment being sent in for service from our customers and identifying shipping damage, recording equipment serial numbers and asset numbers into our database. Outgoing shipments include cleaning, labeling, shipping and recording of the equipment in our database. We offer a 4-day work week Monday through Thursday 6:45 am - 4:45 pm Duties Receive, inspect, and accurately process and log in inbound shipments. Prepare outgoing shipments by cleaning, labeling and packaging orders with attention to detail and efficiency Assist in stock replenishment, stock shelves and work with our service department with coordinating outgoing shipments Ensure proper packaging standards are followed to protect products during transit. Maintain records of all shipping and receiving activities, including inbound/outbound logs and incident reports Requirements Previous shipping & receiving experience Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments Knowledge of QuickBooks software a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting packages up to 40 lbs. Ability to work alone and well with other team members. Mechanical ability including the use of basic tools

Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
