Job Title:
Quality Auditor Job Description We are seeking an experienced Quality Auditor to join our team. This role requires prior experience with receiving shipments, unloading, organizing loads into bins, operating a stand-up forklift, and conducting inventory counts such as cycle and end-of-year counts. You will need strong analytical abilities to determine counts, make adjustments, and maintain quality control. Responsibilities Receive and organize shipments into designated bins. Operate stand-up forklifts efficiently. Conduct inventory counts including cycle counts and end-of-year counts. Maintain quality control through analytical assessment of inventory. Ensure adherence to quality assurance, GMP, and food safety standards. Manage documentation control and quality inspection processes. Perform audits and inspections of inventory and shipping/receiving processes. Essential Skills Experience in quality assurance, GMP, and food safety. Proficiency in Excel for documentation control. Experience as a quality technician, auditor, or inspector. Experience in inventory management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Self-starter with the ability to work independently on night shifts. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in colder weather conditions. Knowledge of food safety, GMP, and BRC standards. Bilingual capabilities are preferred. Work Environment The plant operates 24/7. Initial training is scheduled from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Once trained, the night shift schedule is Sunday night to Thursday night, from 10 PM to 6:30 AM. Schedules for shipments and receiving loads are provided a week in advance, with occasional adjustments of up to 1-2 hours. Per GMP guidelines, no artificial nails, eyelashes, or visible jewelry are permitted. Candidates must wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long-sleeve shirts. Uniforms and freezer jackets are provided as you will be in and out of the freezer throughout the day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hazleton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
