Shipping Specialist I

As a Shipping Specialist I , you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring our industry-leading performance parts reach our customers with 100% accuracy. This entry-level position focuses on mastering logistics and inventory workflows, providing a strong foundation for long-term skill growth and career advancement within our global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick, pack, and prepare customer order for shipment Verify items and quantities against packing lists or work orders Properly package stainless steel exhaust systems with heavy parts to prevent damage during transit Assist with staging, organizing, and loading outbound shipments Carrying boxed exhaust systems, moving, and palletizing boxes up to 75lbs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area Participation in opportunities to improve accuracy, labor time reduction, and streamlining initiatives Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines Communicate discrepancies or issues to the Shipping Supervisor Performing transactions in Epicor MES Support other warehouse or shipping tasks as needed

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required No prior shipping experience required, training provided

Preferred Qualifications:

1 -2 years of prior warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping experience (helpful but not required) Familiarity with scanners, packing equipment, or shipping software

Soft Skills:

Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and schedules Strong attention to detail and organization Basic math and counting accuracy Clear verbal and written communication skills Team-oriented, and adaptable

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to approximately 25 - 75 pounds Ability to perform repetitive tasks
