We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Operator is responsible for coordinating the movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This role supports inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations while maintaining compliance with company safety standards and transportation regulations. Core Responsibilities Process inbound deliveries and outbound shipments, ensuring materials are handled, stored, and transported according to established procedures. Inspect shipment contents, labels, and supporting documentation to confirm accuracy and compliance before receiving or dispatching materials. Record inventory transactions and material movements within the company's ERP or warehouse management system. Maintain organized warehouse storage areas and support housekeeping initiatives to promote a safe work environment. Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, stock adjustments, and material identification activities to maintain inventory accuracy. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely movement of materials and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Participate in process improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse tracking systems. Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work in a physically active environment, including lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in shipping, receiving, distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations. Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and transportation requirements. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and computerized inventory systems. #INDBH #LI-DNI
