Job Description

Thermal Solutions Products provides high efficiency condensing boilers, near condensing boilers and hot water heaters. We believe your application and specific job requirements should drive product selection. One technology does not suit all installations. We are looking for a Shipper & Receiver to join our team! Under limited supervision, following shipping-receiving orders and/or verbal instructions, loads and unloads trucks with powered or hand truck as required. The ideal candidate will have experience with computers, using hand and power tools, using measuring tools, familiar with creating labels with UPS/FedEx and/or Post Services. This is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM. Over time and occasional Saturdays as needed. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Take prepared order from shipping office and labels, marks or packages shipments and assembles in area for loading. Follows shipping orders supplied and/or verbal instructions to insure proper shipment. Operates a powered truck and/or hand truck as required, and/or company truck limited to Stake Body. No CDL required. Stores incoming and outgoing material in a safe and orderly manner. Delivers incoming material to proper areas and rotate stock on and off shelves. Checks incoming material as to condition and quantity and advises Production Control of any discrepancies. Will do packaging and crating of products as required. Build custom crates and skids when needed. Cycle counts inventory with production control. Performs related work as directed, commensurate with this or lesser rated labor grades.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Previous experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory a plus Valid Driver's License Experience operating forklifts/tow motors. Experience with hand and power tools. Experience with measuring tools and devices Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
