Job Description
A CDMO is looking for someone who can serve as their DR and Shipping/Receiving Associate for their new facility in Pennsylvania and start ASAP. Ideal candidates will have current Florida and/or California Designated Representative licensure, strong knowledge of drug storage, shipping, recordkeeping, suspicious orders/diversion concerns, returns, recalls, record retention, and regulatory compliance. Candidate's must have a professional regulatory background and be capable of supporting NABP accreditation and state licensing activities. This person will also be involved in repackaging activities, executing shipment schedules, daily shipping and receiving activities and verifying / maintaining records for incoming and outgoing shipments. Other responsibilities include comparing identifying information, counts, weights, and measurements of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records. Requirements Current Florida and/or California Designated Representative licensure. Open to candidates who only have California licensure and are willing to apply for Florida licensure later. Must have recent shipping/logistics experience in pharmaceutical distribution, wholesale distribution, or pharmacy operations. At least one year of experience within the last three years is required to meet California's DR requirements. Must be able to serve as the designated responsible person for the facility and be physically present full-time as required by applicable state law. High school diploma with a few years of experience required. Associate degree preferred. Responsibilities Follows up on daily incoming receiving and ensures goods are received in a timely manner. Maintains daily receiving and inventory logs. Prepares packing slips and other shipping documents for outgoing shipments. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor. Follows up on shipping schedules and requests, and verifies that shipments are sent on time. Ensures timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards. Ensures suspicious material is identified and handled appropriately. Coordinates with shipping carriers, internal customers, and external customers. Properly and accurately packs and labels various types of shipments. Ensures packing supplies, including boxes, packing materials, and labels, are properly stocked.
