Position Overview:
The E‑Commerce Associate will support our online sales channels by creating, updating, and optimizing product listings and helping manage our e‑commerce platforms. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and tech-savvy who enjoys working with data, product content, and online marketplaces. You will work closely with the marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure our product information is accurate, compelling, and up-to-date across all digital channels. You will also
Key Responsibilities:
Product Listings & Content Management Create, edit, and maintain product listings on our e‑commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc., as applicable). Ensure all product information (titles, descriptions, pricing, images, specs, attributes) is accurate, consistent, and optimized. Upload and manage product images, ensuring proper formatting and adherence to brand standards. Regularly audit listings to correct errors, broken links, and outdated information. Platform Management & Optimization Assist with day-to-day operations of e‑commerce platforms, including inventory updates, pricing changes, and promotional setups. Monitor product performance, search rankings, and conversion metrics; recommend improvements to drive sales. Support implementation of online promotions, coupons, and featured product campaigns. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock levels, lead times, and shipping information are accurate online. Data & Reporting Pull and organize sales and traffic reports from e‑commerce platforms. Track key metrics (sales, returns, click-through rate, conversion rate) and flag trends or issues. Help maintain clean, organized product data in spreadsheets or product information management tools. Customer & Order Support Collaborate with customer service to resolve listing-related inquiries or product questions. Monitor and help manage messages on marketplaces, escalating issues and asking questions, as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with marketing to ensure product content aligns with campaigns and brand guidelines. Partner with operations/warehouse teams to sync product availability, bundles, and discontinuations. Support special projects such as new product launches or onboarding to new marketplaces.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in e‑commerce, digital marketing, retail, merchandising, or a related role preferred. Experience with online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay) or e‑commerce platforms (e.g. WooCommerce, etc.) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with product data. Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data entry and basic reporting. Solid written communication skills for crafting clear, compelling product descriptions. Basic understanding of e‑commerce best practices and product listing optimization. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Basic familiarity with image editing tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.
