Shipping and Receiving Clerk About Finzer Roller Finzer Roller has been a leader in rubber roller manufacturing since 1968. We create custom solutions for our customers and provide quality products through skilled employees and innovative processes. Position Summary The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for inspecting and processing incoming rolls before production begins. This role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to use measuring tools and equipment safely. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming rolls and materials Measure roll dimensions using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and measuring tapes Check roll condition, grooves, and surface details Identify repairs needed and document findings Enter accurate information into company systems Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials Use hand tools to open crates and secure materials Work with other departments to resolve issues Qualifications Experience in shipping, receiving, manufacturing, or a similar role preferred Comfortable using measuring tools and hand tools Strong attention to detail and basic math skills Ability to read and record technical information Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; ERP experience a plus) Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials Commitment to safety and a clean workplace
