This is a hybrid role that combines local and occasional overnight deliveries with hands-on shipping department support. The ideal candidate enjoys variety in their workday, values teamwork, and is comfortable supporting warehouse and logistics operations when not on delivery routes. This position is a great fit for drivers seeking a more balanced schedule and a stable long-term work environment outside of traditional full-time trucking operations. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Safely transport company materials and products to customer and job site locations Perform local deliveries and occasional overnight trips Verify shipping documentation and inspect loads before transport Load and unload trucks using forklifts and material handling equipment Assist with shipping department operations and warehouse organization Complete vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records Secure loads using proper cargo securement procedures Communicate delivery updates, delays, or vehicle concerns Maintain professionalism with customers and internal teams Support cleanliness and organization using 5S standards ________________________________________ Qualifications Valid CDL A license required Forklift certification or ability to become certified Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and warehouse equipment Good driving record and commitment to safety Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening Strong work ethic and reliability Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Basic computer and documentation skills ________________________________________ Why Join QES?
