Job Description

Overview:
The E-commerce Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of all online orders, including picking, packing, and shipping. This role also supports the maintenance and optimization of product listings to ensure alignment with brand standards and drive traffic and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and ship all e-commerce orders accurately and efficiently across platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and other online sales channels. Ensure all orders are processed and shipped prior to daily carrier cutoff times, with proper handoff to designated shipping carriers. Maintain same-day fulfillment standards (excluding weekends). Verify order accuracy, including product, quantity, and condition, prior to shipment to reduce errors and returns. Maintain organized and efficient packing stations, ensuring supplies are stocked and workspace is kept clean and safe. Support inventory management by assisting with regular stock counts, product location accuracy, and reporting discrepancies. Ensure proper packaging standards are followed to protect products and maintain brand presentation quality. Communicate any order issues, shipping delays, or inventory shortages promptly to management for resolution. Maintain, update, and optimize product listings across e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon). Ensure listings remain accurate, complete, and aligned with brand standards. Add new products to e-commerce platforms by inputting accurate product data including titles, descriptions, pricing, variants, SKU/barcode mapping, categories, tags, and attributes. Upload and manage product images and media, ensuring proper formatting, naming conventions, alt text, and visual consistency across all platforms. Review and audit existing product listings to ensure accuracy, correct categorization, SEO optimization, and consistency across all channels. Coordinate with the E-commerce Manager to ensure timely publishing of new products and updates, including verification that products are correctly displayed on the front end. Support SEO optimization of product listings by ensuring proper titles, metadata, keywords, and URL structure are maintained and free of errors.
Work & Scheduling Expectations:
This position is available as either full-time or part-time, with a maximum of 40 hours per week. A Monday-Friday schedule is required, with some flexibility allowed for occasional weekend swaps as needed and approved by management. Regular check-ins and ongoing communication with the E-commerce Manager are expected to ensure alignment, accountability, and an efficient workflow. Unpaid Vacation and time-off requests must be submitted to the E-commerce Manager at least two weeks in advance for approval.
Break Policy:
Employees are eligible for one 30-minute unpaid break per shift, which is optional and may be taken at the employee's discretion. If taken, employees must properly clock out and back in according to timekeeping procedures. A 10-minute paid break may also be taken as needed; employees must notify a manager prior to taking this break.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required to ensure accurate order fulfillment and product listing management. Ability to work independently while maintaining a structured workflow and meeting daily deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with management and proactively report progress, issues, or discrepancies. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced e-commerce and retail environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet fulfillment deadlines consistently. Familiarity with product data management systems and proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets. Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization for product listings is preferred. Basic knowledge of fishing tackle, equipment, and related products is preferred to support accurate order fulfillment and product listing accuracy.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
