Job Description
Job Overview:
Shipping & Receiving clerks are at the center of our ever-growing and fast-paced operations. This role needs a motivated, detail driven individual who stays organized, and keeping things moving. In this role you will coordinate outbound shipments, handle packaged poultry products, and help ensure every order moves out accurately, efficiently, and on time while supporting our commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.Basic Responsibilities & Duties:
Receive inbound load documentation and update order in database. Prepare shipping documents (BOL's, invoices, labels). Coordinate with shipping carriers and production teams. Assist in ensuring accurate product labeling and packaging. Maintain shipping records and databases. Collaborate with customer service and sales teams as needed to ensure correct items are being received and shipped. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by cleaning workstations, disposing of waste, and adhering to sanitation protocols. Following all safety requirements, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to plant implemented Safety Program. Following compliance by adhering to USDA regulations, GMP Policy, Food Defense, and PVP procedures. Promoting teamwork by working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient production. Being prepared to assist in different departments and positions as needed, depending on production and staffing requirements.Requirements & Qualifications:

Legally authorized to work in the United States.Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods, repetitive motions, and lifting/carrying loads (often up to 40 pounds).Working Conditions:
Willingness to work in various conditions, including cold, damp, wet, and potentially noisy environments with varying temperatures and strong odors.Manual Dexterity:
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, particularly when working with small handheld tools.Following Instructions:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must have experience with excel and basic knowledge of Microsoft office. Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a poultry processing or manufacturing environment is a plus but generally not required. Strong organizational and communication skillsWork Environment:
Temperatures:
May be exposed to temperatures below 28 degrees or up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit (in the event you work outside for any reason).Surfaces:
Exposure primarily consists of wet floors, which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.Noise:
May be exposed to noise ranges of up to 110 db.Materials:
May handle products at temperatures as low as 25 degrees Fahrenheit and be exposed to chemicals used in the facility.Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hourBenefits:
