Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Gate Clerk to manage entry and exit operations at our warehouse facility. The Gate Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring smooth shipping logistics, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with international trade regulations. This position requires familiarity with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, RF scanners, and various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse experience, knowledge of order fulfillment processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Monitor and control access to the warehouse by verifying shipments and documentation using warehouse management systems and RF scanners Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including loading and unloading goods using pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts Ensure proper order picking, packing, and inventory stocking according to order specifications and trade compliance standards Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments within ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms Coordinate with warehouse staff for order fulfillment, inventory management, and stock replenishment Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and safety protocols during all logistics operations Support packaging processes for e-commerce orders and assist with load & unload tasks as needed Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy Perform routine inspections of equipment like forklifts or reach trucks when applicable Requirements Prior experience in warehouse management system operation, shipping logistics, or related warehouse roles preferred Familiarity with forklift operation, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is highly desirable Knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and MRP/ERP systems such as AS400 is a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory management and order processing Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and documentation accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Physical ability to load/unload goods, operate equipment safely, and stand for extended periods during shifts This position offers an essential role within our logistics team by ensuring efficient warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Pay:
$21.98 - $26.47 per hour
