Opsource has partnered with a local facility in Simpsonville, SC, that is looking for a Shipping Assistant to join their team on the first shift!

Pay Rate:
$19.00+/hr
Shift:
1st Shift Monday-Thursday 8AM-5
PM Description:
Skills and Qualifications:
Manage time effectively, meet personal and departmental goals, and work effectively with other members of the team Possess strong communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic team atmosphere Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred Must have strong computer/data entry skills Bachelor's Degree or 3-4 years of shipping experience
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare shipping documents including but not limited to: o Bill of Ladings o Packing slips o Customs paperwork Process invoices Verify accuracy of shipments Maintain close correspondence with sales staff Organize and maintain electronic shipping records Coordinate less-than-truckload (LTL) pickups Oversee and ensure compliance with 6S Safety Program Works closely with shipping employees on manufacturing floor to ensure efficiency and quality; assist shipping employees as needed
