Job Summary:

Responsible for performing basic shipping and receiving tasks in a manufacturing facility.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Receives, inspects, and verifies incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. Prepares and packages products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Operates basic shipping equipment, such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and wrapping machines. Maintains accurate records of shipped and received goods in the inventory management system. Assists in loading and unloading trucks and containers. Ensures the cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area. Follows all safety protocols and guidelines. Nails and staples guns to the operational equipment bullet. Responds to emails when necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred but not required. Forklift, Manlift, and Tractor certification may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry. Good communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

Work Environment:

Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. Work environment may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and temperatures, loud noises, dirt, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and heavy forklift traffic.
