Hourly Reports to: Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
This hourly employee reports directly to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and ultimately to the Production Control Manager.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically Check products for defects and accuracy Ensure posting of outbound deliveries using pre-designated software Handle packaging procedures to ensure safety of shipment Ensure that serial and batch numbers match the product Pull, pack and ship finished goods Process customers' orders by ensuring that the right shipment is on its way Handle shipment receiving duties by ensuring the right item has been delivered Report and replace any defective item prior to packing Prepare and paste labels on shipments Prepare invoices and delivery orders Ensure that all transactions are recorded in company database Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and types Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled Make sure that items are loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely manner Operate forklift to transport shipments from the storage area to the pallet Handle space arrangements for incoming shipments in the storage areas Ensure that the warehouse is cleaned and maintained at all times Handle daily cycle counting of assigned areas Handle year-end and general inventory procedures Conducts routine safety and equipment inspections, records proper operating and material information for production. Performs housekeeping to maintain production and operations in neat and orderly condition. Operates forklift to move raw materials and scrap materials to properly designated areas. Stock flow racks and move materials to technicians on the floor. Move completed parts to designated storage areas. Move totes and boxes to appropriate production areas. Understand and implement lot control practices. Ability to maintain inventory using a first in, first out system. Ability to operate cardboard baler. Provide production or operation support as directed by supervisor or other management. Employee is responsible for assisting shipping / receiving which includes but is not limited to loading / unloading of trucks, pallets, totes, and components. Use scanners and computers to electronically track inventory. Responsible for keeping scrap hoppers empty. Responsible for maintaining cardboard packaging area. Report any incoming damaged product or unsafe loads. Filling customer orders according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) Using computer hardware and software to generate labels and maintain equipment 0105-0410-210918 THK Rhythm North America Job Description Performing daily and weekly cleaning according to SOPs Maintaining and organizing adequate shipping supplies Using manual and electric pallet jacket as needed Ensuring that products processed for shipping are delegated to correct courier Assisting in others areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
The technician is required, as a minimum, to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Certified forklift operator Understanding of Kanban system. Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office. Must have a valid driver's license

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes, including carbon monoxide or airborne particles.
