Job Description
Blue Bell Creameries is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser/Shipping Clerk in the Amarillo, TX area. A part-time merchandiser/shipping clerk's responsibility include, but are not limited to: Keeping ice cream product displays full, neat and clean in grocery stores and other retail facilities; Maintaining good relations with customers and their personnel; and Regular communication with the branch manager and sales manager, including informing them of any concerns with equipment, product, or other issues. Unloading trucks (18 wheeler trailers) and placing products in cold storage warehouse; Reloading transports with returning packaging materials; Loading sales trucks with product for route deliveries; Keeping warehouse organized, clean and safe; and Assist in periodic maintenance of facility. The position is part-time and pays hourly. •The typical hours are 6+ hours on SUNDAYS. Working Wednesdays, holidays and covering vacations are required as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable and personable. The position is often appealing to students and semi-retired individuals due to its hours and responsibilities.
