Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of Florida's largest privately-owned produce distributors. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves many clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores, and retail outlets.Summary:
Mr. Greens is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Receiver that can work individually slotting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to a shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a trailer for delivery to customers. Responsible for unloading incoming produce. Ensures the accuracy and the quality of the items received Receiving, unpacking, breaking down pallets, as well as preparing produce for stocking in coolers. Responsible for maintaining a detailed log of outbound and inbound shipment documents. Communicate and address variances, quality issues, and concerns with relevant departments to help identify the causes and implement sustainable corrective action This job operates within a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F.Qualifications:
Warehouse experience 1 year (required) High school diploma, GED (required) Forklift certified (required) Electric pallet jack (required) OSHA 10 or 20 certified (preferred but not required) Able to work overtime and weekends Physical Demands/ Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
