Job Description

Overview:
Part Mark Level I is the second level in the Shipping and Receiving Career Track. As a Level I you will perform basic packaging and shipping functions with minimum supervision, as well as ensuring ink stamps, bag and tag, part labeling, and silk screen are correct by matching the print and work order requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
(include but not limited to) : Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following: Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Handle materials in according to customer and QMS requirements. Perform part wrapping and protection in order to prevent damage during shipping. Pack, seal, or label to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools and/or power tools. Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment. Prepare items to be shipped. Process and document shipments via UPS, FedEx or other specified carrier or freight provider. Utilize personal computers to accurately prepare documents, such as shippers, bills of lading, park marking and shipping orders to route materials. Document completion of work/operations in M2M. Maintain inventory of parts. Re-stock shelves in shipping department as needed. Record inventory transactions in M2M. Part mark designs, text, or other markings onto materials, work pieces, or products according to customer specifications. Complete required trainings Perform other jobs or functions assigned by manager/supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum Preferred Qualifications, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following: High School Diploma or GED (2) years of consistent working experience. Related experience a plus.

Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Ability to continuously lift 50+ lbs in an 8 hour shift and higher with assistance. Written Comprehension — The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
