Job Description

Position Overview CS&P Technologies is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations at our Del Rio facility. This role is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, staging, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely communication regarding any discrepancies. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, and a commitment to maintaining efficient material flow throughout the warehouse. Essential Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments by inspecting materials, verifying quantities, and comparing deliveries to packing slips and purchase documentation. Receive materials from UPS, FedEx, XPO, the Cypress facility, and other freight carriers. Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged materials, or receiving discrepancies immediately. Communicate receiving status, shortages, damages, and discrepancies to the Shipping & Receiving Lead and Import/Export department before materials are released to production or inventory. Accurately enter receiving information and maintain complete shipping and receiving documentation. Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer and intercompany shipments according to company procedures. Prepare export pallets by wrapping, labeling, and staging materials for shipment. Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations while maintaining inventory accuracy. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following all company safety policies and procedures. Work closely with warehouse, production, purchasing, and import/export personnel to ensure efficient material flow. Support other warehouse and shipping functions as assigned. Qualifications Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred. Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience preferred. Forklift certification or the ability to become certified. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Basic computer skills with experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems preferred. Ability to accurately read packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documentation. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, walk, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Preferred Skills Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures. Experience with inventory control and cycle counting. Familiarity with barcode scanners and shipping software. Basic mathematical skills for inventory verification and documentation. Ability to identify process improvements that increase warehouse efficiency.
