2pm Put Away Job Description We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a pivotal role where you will be responsible for handling and organizing merchandise in a warehouse setting. This role involves generating manifests, interpreting warehouse documents, and preparing products for distribution. Responsibilities Generate manifests to dispatch and confirm customer and/or stock orders. Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to other designated areas. Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity. Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to pre-determined sequence. Prepare products for distribution within facilities. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing station or shipping department. Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within established guidelines under direct supervision. Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer system. Work Environment This role is set in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. The environment is non-climate controlled, and closed-toe shoes are required. Safety is a priority, and cellphones or electronics are not permitted in the warehouse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
