Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description The Shipping & Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in accurately receiving, staging, palletizing, and shipping materials and finished goods. This position requires hands-on warehouse experience, proficiency with RF scanners, and safe operation of forklifts to support efficient manufacturing and distribution processes. Responsibilities Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare customer and internal shipments according to work orders. Ensure shipments are properly labeled, wrapped, and secured. Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks. Verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, packing lists, and labels, for accuracy. Essential Skills Hands-on warehouse experience. Proficiency with RF scanners. Safe operation of forklifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with sit down and reach trucks. Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and receiving processes. Inventory control skills. Familiarity with SAP systems. Work Environment This role is located in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
