Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Shipping & Postal Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers with shipping, packing, mailbox services, and other postal-related needs while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to multitask efficiently. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service. Process domestic and international shipments through carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Professionally pack items of various sizes for safe transportation. Weigh, measure, and calculate shipping costs. Create shipping labels and prepare customs documentation for international shipments. Receive and process incoming packages and mail. Assist mailbox customers with mail and package pickup. Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process payments. Maintain accurate transaction and shipment records. Keep the store clean, organized, and professional. Assist with inventory management and merchandising displays. Follow company policies, carrier regulations, and shipping compliance requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Preferred Previous experience in shipping, postal, retail, customer service, or logistics. Experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL shipping systems. Packing and freight shipping experience. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
