Summary:
The Shop Material Coordinator will confer with project manager or inside sale personnel to determine customer requirements on shop orders, help schedule fabrication jobs, notify shipping and receiving to move staged jobs to the production floor, provide shop personnel with drawings, fabrication checklist, and order assembly instructions, enter time for fabrication personnel, coordinate return of leftover material from jobs, and invoice jobs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: General office duties, including filing, faxing, and scanning daily documents Checking status on parts received for shop orders Pulling and organizing parts for shop projects Staging inventory Picking orders and transfers from other groups Daily interfacing with WH Team on WIP Qualifications include, but are not limited to: 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred Strong computer skills preferred, but not required Excellent communication skills Basic math skills Strong data entry, organizational, and multitasking abilities
