Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic aerospace logistics team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, where your energy and precision will drive the seamless movement of high-value aerospace components. In this vital role, you will manage the accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of parts and materials. Your proactive approach will ensure compliance with safety standards and quality controls, supporting our mission to deliver excellence in aerospace manufacturing and maintenance. Duties Accurately receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepancies using RF scanners and barcode systems. Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, labeling, and documenting items with precision to meet tight schedules. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload materials efficiently within the warehouse. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, update stock records, and facilitate order fulfillment processes. Conduct stock replenishment activities by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment. Assist in order picking and packing for e-commerce orders, ensuring accuracy through RF scanners and proper packaging techniques. Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating with logistics teams to load trucks accurately and on time while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of inbound and outbound shipments, inventory movements, and discrepancies for audit purposes. Participate in cycle counts and stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy aligned with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems. Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations within an aerospace or manufacturing environment. Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is a plus. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, RF scanners, and inventory control software such as MRPs. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation purposes. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to load/unload materials repeatedly while following safety procedures. Experience with packaging materials and techniques suitable for aerospace components to ensure safe transportation. Good communication skills with a proactive attitude toward teamwork and safety compliance in fast-paced settings.
