Job Description
Sentry Coatings is a precision PVD/DLC coating shop in McKinney, TX. As a federally licensed (FFL) operation, accurate recordkeeping is core to how we run. This is the compliance and logistics backbone of our shop. You'll own the intake, logging, storage, and shipping of customer firearms, plus the paperwork that keeps us audit-ready. This role is deliberately separate from production — your job is accuracy, every time. What you'll do: Log incoming firearms into our compliance software; verify against shipping documents Maintain the bound book / electronic records and secure-storage organization to ATF standards Manage secure storage through intake, work-in-progress, and outbound stages Package and ship completed firearms with accurate records and tracking Own compliance and transactional admin: vendor/PO paperwork, customer intake docs, shipping records Reconcile physical inventory against records on a set schedule What we're looking for: Exceptional attention to detail and a by-the-book approach to recordkeeping Comfort with compliance software, inventory systems, and documentation Trustworthy, organized, consistent — accuracy and accountability are the whole job Must be able to lawfully handle firearms under federal law and pass a background check Nice to have: FFL, firearms-retail, or regulated-inventory experience; ATF bound-book software; shipping/logistics.
