Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods through all stages of the shipping and receiving process. Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support order fulfillment, and uphold high standards of safety and accuracy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving e-commerce environment. Responsibilities Prepare, package, and label products for shipment using appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe delivery. Operate pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport inventory within the warehouse. Manage warehouse distribution by accurately picking, packing, and fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process shipments, and update order statuses. Conduct stock checks, stocking activities, and inventory audits to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce discrepancies. Assist with order picking and packing using pick lists generated from MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to fulfill e-commerce orders efficiently. Load and unload trucks safely while adhering to safety protocols; perform basic math calculations for weight verification and shipment documentation accuracy.. Skills Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order fulfillment, picking & packing, and stock management. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures in an e-commerce environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and order accuracy. Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and verifying shipment details. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
