Job Description
SHIPPING
OPERATORMonday - Friday8:00 am - 5:00 pm$17.00 per hour, must be able to work overtime and weekends.
ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONSReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and qualityPick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders for shipmentLoad and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipmentMove raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies throughout the facilityPrepare shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of ladingEnsure shipments are packaged safely, securely, and efficientlyMaintain accurate inventory and shipping recordsFollow all workplace safety procedures and company policiesAssist with general warehouse and shipping duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferredForklift experience or certification preferredAbility to safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionallyComfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentBasic math and computer skills required- must be able to pass a pre-employment math test
