Primary Purpose:

To ensure the accuracy of instructional materials inventory and deliveries.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years old.

Special Knowledge and Skills:

Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Receiving & Processing Shipments:

Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage; sort and store items in designated locations.

Order Fulfillment:

Pick, pack, and prepare textbook orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Inventory Management:

Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.

Warehouse Organization:

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.

Shipping & Receiving:

Assist with loading and unloading deliveries; ensure proper documentation for all shipments. Assist in loading and unloading the box truck for deliveries. Accompany senior staff on delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Working Conditions:

Position may require long periods of lifting, sitting at a desk sorting materials and or computer with repetitive hand and wrist motion. Must be able to handle stress of short deadlines and possible extra hours to get the job done. Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritize your own work. Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks. Must be able to work flexible dates and hours around material deliveries.
