Receiving Clerk Quality Electrical Systems - 3.5 West Jordan, UT Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Basic math High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Overview Responsible for receiving, visually inspecting, and accurately recording deliveries of raw materials and supplies. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Unload packages from incoming trucks Inspect outer packaging upon receipt, documenting any damage Verify contents according to packing slips, including quantities and part numbers Collaborate with purchasing on deliveries and discrepancies Accurately receive and record data within the database, including quantities, packing slip numbers, bill of lading, etc. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse using 5S standards Perform other related tasks, as required ________________________________________ Knowledge and Experience Requirements Education equivalent to a high school diploma Receiving work experience preferred Knowledge of basic mathematics and the ability to apply it in a work situation Ability to read and understand written instructions Demonstrated computer skills, preferably in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other applicable software programs ________________________________________ Core Competencies & Skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others Effective written and verbal communication skills Keen eye for detail Organizational skills Experience working with raw materials Documentation skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to perform tasks involving writing, sitting, standing, bending, and reading Visual acuity, color perception, and peripheral vision Ability to work in environments with noise and exposure to chemical vapors About Quality Electrical Systems Quality Electrical Systems is an electrical equipment manufacturer in West Jordan, UT.
