Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Overview We are a small manufacturer looking for a self-motivated, self-disciplined and dependable employee for our Shipping and Receiving Department. Experience is preferred but not necessary. Being drug-free and possessing a valid driver's license is required. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities against purchase orders. Operate forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse. Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely, labeling accurately, and ensuring proper documentation and processing for shipping. Manage stock levels through accurate stock counting, stocking shelves, and updating inventory records in systems. Drive company box truck to pick up and deliver products from/to suppliers. Pick and process parts orders for production work orders and customer orders. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs. by oneself) required. Maintain a clean, organized work environment. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes is preferred, but not necessary. Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers is preferred, but not necessary. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements, quantities, and inventory adjustments is required. We will train. Starting salary will be partially based on experience.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
