Job Description

At Algas-SDI, a leader in off-grid and back-up clean energy systems, we re expanding our operations team and looking for a Receiving Clerk to help ensure the smooth flow of materials that keep our products and projects running strong. If you re detail-oriented, take pride in accuracy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you. 🔧What You ll Do Unpack, examine, and route all incoming shipments. Identify and reject damaged items; work with shippers and buyers to resolve damages and shortages. Receive and process defective parts returned for replacement or credit. Use the ERP system to input transactions, including issue, adjust, transfer, and scrap. Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for all material movements. Support production with timely responses to parts requests. Coordinate the work of inventory control clerks and assist with daily cycle counts. Perform material handling duties using forklifts and pallet jacks. Keep your workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. 💡 What makes you a great fit High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of logistics or warehouse experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math proficiency and attention to detail. Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack. Mechanical and technical aptitude. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Typing proficiency (10-key a plus).
