manufacturing company. We have an immediate opening for shipping/receiving associate. This person works closely with shipping coordinator, management team and with our customers to deliver exceptional quality work. This is a unique opportunity for the interested candidate. The shipping/receiving department at Larkin Precision is a fast paced, multi task environment where everyday is different. This role involves driving company vehicles, so a clean driving record is critical. No at fault accidents in 5 years, no traffic tickets allowed in the last 3 years. Permission to pull driving abstract will be required. This role does operate some limited machinery and will also involve some office paperwork and interaction with our ERP system. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required, ERP experience is a plus. Candidate will need to attend forklift certification if not already obtained within the first 30 days of employment. Our shop environment is safety sensitive and as such we maintain a drug free workplace, we do require pre-employment drug testing, including testing for marijuana.

Job Type:

This is a 40 hour per week position

Day Shift:

Communicate effectively (spoken and written) to managers Work on a team and collaborate with team members Operate a forklift (Class IV) Count incoming/outgoing parts Pack parts for optimized shipping (ie. UPS, Freight, Flatbed) Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand all day Ability to multitask Drive company vehicle to local customers and vendors to pickup and deliver product All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
