Full Job Description Description:
The Shipping & Production Associate is responsible for operating production marking equipment, inspecting and packaging manufactured parts, and supporting shipping operations. This role ensures products are processed, packaged, documented, and shipped accurately while maintaining quality standards, inventory organization, and safe warehouse practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate inkjet printer part-marking equipment and activate marking processes using foot pedals. Inspect parts and finished products for quality and compliance with customer requirements and blueprints. Wrap, package, label, and prepare products for shipment using proper packaging techniques. Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records using company software and Microsoft Office products. Schedule and coordinate shipments while assisting with warehouse logistics and storage organization. Monitor machine operation to identify product defects or equipment malfunctions. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods. Assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean, organized stockroom and work area. Troubleshoot shipping discrepancies and assist in resolving customer or shipment-related issues. Communicate in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner with employees, customers, management, and others with whom we may work. Contribute to a successful work group and foster a team-oriented culture through positive interactions, active listening, collaboration, engagement, and the constructive exchange of ideas designed to meet or exceed organizational goals. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse, shipping, manufacturing, or production experience preferred Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language Ability to read and follow blueprint or work instructions Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and production equipment Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment Physical Work/Environmental Requirements Position works in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and requires the use of various types of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, computers, and production machinery Requires light to heavy lifting Requires continuous standing and walking May require repetitive hand and foot movements throughout the shift Reasonable Accommodation Notice Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform job functions, ask Manager.
