Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with livestock or animal feed experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA regulations while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels and product locations. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and loading and unloading materials. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for efficient order picking and packing. Assist in the stocking of products on shelves and maintaining organized storage areas. Perform shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Follow safety protocols while handling materials and operating machinery to minimize risks. Participate in regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with company standards. Experience Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes. Feed and/or Livestock experience preferred. Knowledge of inventory management practices and experience. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation is beneficial for troubleshooting issues as they arise. Experience with heavy lifting and materials handling is essential for this role. Understanding of OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment is required.
