6:00am-4:30pm Join a dynamic team as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout their facility. This position offers a hands-on environment with opportunities for growth, skill development, and making a tangible impact on our operations. Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Unload, transport, electronically receive and stow all incoming materials.
- Count, identify, and deliver all production materials to proper production area.
- Perform all necessary computerized electronic transactions to receive, transfer, issue, or ship parts with total accuracy.
- Ability to measure and assemble custom crating and packaging material for outgoing materials.
- Package wide variety of items for outbound shipments.
- Operate forklift to load and unload materials, place in warehouse, and move throughout plant.
Shipping & Receiving Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, perform simple arithmetic.
- Know weight and measurements.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must possess good computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.).
- Must be proactive in recognizing quality issues to minimize late shipments and maximize customer service.
- Forklift certification required.
- Ability to be cross trained in other areas.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Solo lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Team lift 51
- 100 pounds frequently.
- Team lift more than 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while performing tasks.
