Job Summary
DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the full cycle of receiving parts, record keeping, inventory management, and shipping. Hours are Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm. Duties Inspect and verify incoming orders to invoices and document discrepancies Update inventory Accurately pick, package, and label outgoing orders Prepare shipping documents including purchase orders, invoices, packing slips Schedule transportation with carriers and communicate shipping status Address shipping and receiving questions with internal staff and customers Operate forklift and pallet jack Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Strong attention to detail Lift up to 70 pounds Strong basic math to calculate costs, verify quantities, and interpret documents Strong written and verbal communication skills Operate forklift / ability to be certified Proficient in Excel, some MS Office, and Quickbooks is helpful Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
