Description of Job:
Performs the material handling required to support manufacturing/packaging operations, shipping and receiving. Work includes movement of material to and from warehouses, shipping and receiving areas, operation of UPS equipment, shipping labels, international and domestic shipping procedures, customer specific requirements. Associates will be trained in and perform multiple work assignments. Maintain safe and clean work environment. Weigh, count, pack, place parts into storage. Remove parts from storage and/or mark information according to internal or external customer requirements. Receives general instruction for Work Group Leader or Material Tech II. Move components and finished goods throughout the plant. Use computer to locate stock, retrieves, identify stock availability. Perform computer transactions to maintain inventory accuracy. Report production. Perform cycle counts. Follow prescribed procedures for preparing reports. Comply with QS 9000 procedures. Calibrate scales to assure accurate counts. Identify when periodic maintenance is required on equipment. Review load sheets for stock availability. Set-up and track shipments to customers as required. Maintain accurate files to trace shipments and receipts. Assist in training other Material Handler III. Notify Work Group Leader before receiving damaged material.
PAY RATE
$24.36/
HOUR HOURS:
MONDAY - THURSDAY
5am-3pm Must have HS Diploma or GED. Must have computer, reading/writing English skills, math skills. Must pass or hold
STRATTEC
