1st Shift 7 AM to 3:30 PM M-F Summary /

General Description:

Preparing parts for shipment, generating packing slips, packing parts, visual inspection and shipping to customers and vendors. Keeping track of stock and inventory to make shipment deadlines.

Operations Manager Essential Duties /

Responsibilities:

Read and complete all paperwork and documentation Will operate weight scales and count parts accurately Notify operations of parts shortages Locate, pick and rotate stock according to procedures Follow customer packing and shipping requirements and specifications Perform final inspection of all parts before shipping, then pack and ship according to requirements Notify leader of department when supplies are below adequate level of inventory Assist in training other shippers as needed Know and use the inventory system to look up information Generate packing slips, purchase orders and invoices if needed Use of a fork-lift truck Maintain departmental housekeeping, safety work standards and accurate inventory levels. Perform cycle counting duties

Educational Level:

High School Diploma / or

Equivalent Previous Experience:

Prior knowledge of machine work and parts Computer skills such as Outlook, Excel, word, ERP systems, Maintain positive work relationships with peers and outside vendors

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to be able to be on feet for entire shift. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
