Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient processing of outgoing shipments, ensuring that all orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched in a timely manner. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, shipping logistics, and trade compliance will help us maintain seamless operations and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Prepare and process outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP software Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to pick, pack, load, and unload goods efficiently Ensure accurate order fulfillment by verifying product quantities and specifications through order picking and packing procedures Manage shipping & receiving activities, including coordinating with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries Maintain compliance with international trade regulations and trade agreements during export/import processes Stock inventory accurately using warehouse distribution techniques and perform regular stock checks Assist in packaging products securely to prevent damage during transit while optimizing space on pallets or containers Skills Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution and logistics operations Certified forklift operator with experience handling reach trucks and pallet jacks safely Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400, and inventory control tools such as RF scanners Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and international trade regulations Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight estimations Experience with order picking & packing, load & unload procedures, and stock replenishment in an e-commerce or distribution environment Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy in shipping documentation and compliance standards Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in logistics!
